Matching pairs

On a practical level, we set about finding glasses that resembled those already used in the print campaign. Ensuring the CG glasses matched the real glasses was technically key to the success of this film. They had to be realistic and an absolute replication too.

Bringing the story to life

This wasn't about personifying glasses, they needed to still work and feel like objects even when it battle. The fight sequence was a metaphorical representation of the internal fight a patient might have, from staying in, to going outside - small victories. 

To help bring out that rigidity glasses naturally have, we went for a subtle stop motion style of animation. Take a look at an early animation test we created for the agency and client. Tests are a great way to explore what works best for a story during the early concept stage.
